The Biscuit Factory of Lacydon

"The Biscuit Factory of Lacydon", it is above all the story of a passion for the Mediterranean culture.

For more than 20 years, it is by its appetite of the authentic that it immortalizes with a lot of delicacy and attention a traditional method of manufacturing.

It elaborates, various specialities of biscuits, dry or softness, stemming from ancient recipes of Provence and from Corsica.

Their originality meets in ingredients: anise, honey, aroma lemon, aroma orange blossom, almond which gives to biscuits this flavour so particular and this taste. “Canistrelli”, Corsican specialities, declined in several versions.The crisp, also called "breakage-teeth", are twice cooked the ancient way.

Shuttles perfumed in the orange blossom are so called in memory of the shape of the boat in which the “Phocaean” people (people from Marseille) landed in the creek of “Lacydon”, the current Old harbour.

It is this highly symbolic place in the story that the cookie factory chose to wear its name.

The company, implanted in “Aubagne” (the country of “Pagnol”), count around thirty employees.
